Hey guys, completely new at this but I’m so glad you are here. My name is Rachel. I have been married to Mike for almost 24 years (in March). We have 2 very handsome, loving and ornery (yes still) sons. Merrik is 23 and Mason will be 20 this year. I would consider us close. Mike and I’s favorite thing to do is hang out with our boys and we know we are lucky to have that privilege. Mike owns and operates a security company where he installs cameras, burg alarms and access control. He does work for SecureNet, a company out of Clinton MO. If you have any security needs, reach out to them, they are the best. Merrik and Mason both work with their dad. As the wife and mom, it is the absolute best feeling knowing they are all together, watching over each other. On the side, Mike loves being in the shop, working on anything that has to do with a car. Merrik and Mason spend their off times at the gym or hanging out with friends or us, lol. They also inherited the car gene from their dad and they are pretty lucky to have a good one to learn from. This was suppose to be about me, but I often have trouble writing about just me. You wouldn’t have me without them. They are who I can talk about all day, every day. The basics about me are, I LOVE hearing stories from my boys. It’s my absolute favorite because I know how special it is to get to hear their stories and still see the excitement in their eyes, the same eyes I looked into when they were 5 and excited to tell me something. My favorite activity to do when I need a little time for me is to mow. I am the mower in this house. It is my time to put headphones on and listen to music or a book and just be in my own head. I’ve sang and cried on the mower, good therapy. One of my favorite places to be is the beach. I don’t even care which one. Sand, heat and ocean is my place of zen. I love to cross stitch, seeing a pattern come to life is fulfilling to me. It also keeps me from thinking about things that worry me and just keeps me focused on the task. I like a good book. I mainly listen to books. Come to find out, listening to a book while cross stitching is multitasking at its finest. I started this website as a blog to just talk, kinda like a journal with the opportunity to relate with someone or just entertain. I don’t have a lot of things to teach, but I have experiences and maybe that will help someone. I am random (hence the name). I will talk about anything and everything. I hope you join this ride with me. I will get better at all the designs (I hope), but for now, I just want to talk.
